Overall comments and opinions:

- Take two bodies, even if one stays tucked into a sock in your suitcase. The extra is cheap insurance. Don't forget extra batteries. - Leave the 180/2.8 at home. As much as you like it, after 4 weeks, you'll hate the weight if you have to carry it all the time. - Take either the 35/2 or the 50/1.8, not both. I'd favor the 35/2 and 100/2.8 as the main two lenses, coupled with the zoom, a WA (21 if you have one), and a converter for the 100. - The 75-150 is nice and relativley light, and would be favored when you need tele-zoom capabilities. - Be careful of the 35-70/3.5-4.5 with polarizers, it turns as you focus and drove me crazy shooting landscapes.

So my kit would probably be:

2 bodies
21, 35, 100, 35-70, 2x. Possibly an extension tube or two if you like to take details. Small flash.

I'm leaving next sunday for a 4 weeks trip to India. My previous
experiences taught me that travelling with a *light* equipment can be
essential... But, being as zuikoholic as most on this list (well, not
yet on the scale(s) of... well, you know ;-)), I have a difficult
time trying to select from the following:

OM-4Ti
OM-40

24/2.8
35/2
35-70/3.5-4.5
50/1.8
100/2.8
75-150/4
180/2.8
Komura 2x converter

Domke F-2
Domke F-3X

Currently, I favor this set up (I intend to shoot both people and landscapes):

Domke F-3X

OM-4Ti

24/2.8
35-70/3.5-4.5
100/2.8
180/2.8
Komura 2x converter

Close seconds are:
50/1.8 for low light situations (but I can use Provia 100 at 400)
75-150/4 (but my heart bleeds not bringing the 180/2.8, although my
shoulders rejoice...)
OM-40

Of course, if I take the Domke F-2, I can take (almost) everything,
but I think this would be too heavy when walking all day long.

Any advice?

Bernard
