Hi William,

  Been there, done that. A 400MM lens on the TOP side of the C-8 will
cause the fork tines to bounce. However, there are several ways which
fit UNDER the tube, such as Scott Losmandy's system.

I do have an 8 inch Schmidt Cassegrain telescope (C8 Deluxe), I just wanted
to experiment a bit with piggybacking a 400mm lens on top of the scope.

can get some extraordinary pics this way!!!!
