Gary, you are right, that is the different between sharpness and resolution.
Even a E-10 shot will look very sharp after proper sharpening and print out
at 16x20, but you will not get the details of projected slide when looking
close. A lots of DC users will tell you how their 3Mp DC produces image that
is much better than traditional print, they simply never seen a real high
resolution projected slide image.
