Hi zuiks & zuikettes,

I've just run my first film though my "new" OM2-SP.
Most exposures were blank ie the slide is black - indicating no exposure was
made
I've got 4 transparencies off the 36 exposure film, frames 21A, 25A & 26A
35A & 36A one of which is blank (but I don't know which
All except the last frame were exposed during one session
I was using a winder 2 during the first session & my "standard" zuiko 28
-48mm lens. Camera batteries (AgO) are fine as measured & checked by battery
test Camera was set for auto exposure control

List subscriber Ray Moth had a problem some time ago & tells me there is a
known issue with the OM2-SP where the 2 levers that prevent the film being
wound on until after the shutter is released can stick so that you can wind
on without the shutter firing.

Ray has fixed the problem by degreasing the black lever, but can't lay hands
on the details at present

Can anyone point me to some more detail? there didn't seem to be any follow
up to Ray's original cry for help on the list

TIA for any advice either posted to the list or directly to me
