Don't actually have the scanner yet, so I can't answer the question. From
what I've read, the banding is a bigger problem on the LS-8000, but either
way, Vuescan seems to fix it.

I´m going to buy this scanner because I think that is the
best in the market right now! But I´ve never readed that
there was problems with banding with LS-4000!!! Do you have
them?
