Maybe there's more romance in the trash of visited places, though I felt pretty much the same the month I spent walking around taking shots in San Sebastian. Anyway, I didn't mean to refer to compositional problems here, just the gross of junk we all have in our visions these days in cities. Especially the automobiles--they're everywhere all the time in this city and I'm sick of it. Can't be good for anyone's head.

To elicit the order in your viewfinder from the chaos of civilization,
as an example. To find what the human order is in the clutter. I think I
could see it better when I was in Bombay than when I am home in New
Jersey. Oh, you know what I mean...
