I am just catching up now after a weekend away. This thread has been
interesting. In one post (I forget by who), it was stated that Olympus is
coming out with a new camera. Is this true? Is it digital or film SLR?

I covered a pro tennis tournament last winter and was the sole manual
camera user at the event. I soon discovered that all the AF users were
in manual mode during play.After the matches ended and the players made
their little press speech or whatever, the AF was put to use. From this
observation I can't really see AF being
a big benefit in shooting sporting events. Seems to be great for taking
photos of guys sitting in chairs giving interviews.:>)
