Just as on this list the "terrorist attacks" of OT postings has now
successfully overtaken the the original intent. Over the past 5 years I
have seen things develope from the once a year rant (which inevitably turns
bitter because of the heated emotions raised) to now repeated rants that
never seem to end. The terrorsits, starting with Oben, have now raised us
to new heights. The ONLY topic of discussion on this list is now POLITICS.
For the past 6 months the vast majority of ALL postings have been OT. The
noise to contibution has sucessfully exceeded any rational level.
People never seem to learn. Bring a terrorist into your home and he will
take it over.

I think there's a lot of OM content here. There is discussion of NY, but
what would you expect? It'll die off. This list, meanwhile, is still
composed of the same group of people, and we are primarily here because of
our common interest in photography and things Olympus. I don't see that
changing long term.
You know, in the very middle of the New York flap someone came up with the
idea of exchanging pix over Christmas. I'd hardly call that dysfunctional.
This list strikes me as being in fine shape.
