Well, as a 24 shift owner I may be qualified to answer, but.... I never
tested the "softness" of the front element. I would put myself into
harms way before anything got that close to my baby!
I have a 2x-A that I have used w/ the shift lens, and although the focal
length is a nice one to have w/ shift capabilities, I don't like the
greenish tinge that the images get from use w/ the 2x-A. You are more
than welcome to borrow it as I do not get much use of it these days.
Can't answer about the TC w/ macro equip. - got none to speak of.
