Thanks Bernd, yes it is the 80-210mm f3.8/4.0 @210. I was talking about
two different lenses. The Kitstar is a prime.

I like the Tamron a lot. It's sharp and delivers good colours. Fine
mechanics. It works pretty well with the Tamron 2x teleconverter, which
fits between the lens and the adapall ring.
