: The earliest (or first) OM-2 would be serial number 100,000.
Clear enough; the camera featured on *e*b*a*y* was the 900.001-th OM-2 made
by Olympus.
Not only that, in the beginning of its lifetime, it was even *owned* by
Olympus!!! ;))
Surely this must make the 1.000.000 sample a *must have* for all dedicated
Oly collectors; especially for those who know that humans have ten fingers
and ten toes, and that any multiplication of ten, like for instance 2-0-0-0,
*has* to be M-a-g-i-c.
