I don't know about keeping it in the case - don't see how that could help
since the reputed problem occurs while the shutter is open, during the
exposure. I've never noticed the dimple pattern in my negatives but I now
use an OM-1 with 120 film backing paper taped on the pressure plate just to
be sure.
