A cable release and tripod remove hand shake but not shutter shock. I made
the mistake of using a (borrowed) 'sticky' cable release once and ruined a
sequence of otherwise good landscapes because the effort of operating it
caused a small shake. Make sure it is smooth and easy in action and not
held taut.
