As has been noted before, it is easy to fill the offending screw hole with some 5-minute epoxy. The mount on my Tamron 400 has been in use for several years with one application of epoxy. I don't think looking for the latter versions of the Adaptall mount is worth much effort .

Generally - the later Adaptall 2's that are marked 'OL' rather than 'OM' -
one screw position was shifted to avoid the problem so there are still four
retaining screws but in an oddly spaced configuration. Better check though
- someone once claimed an OL type with button stripping powers.
