[OM] What battery or spacer for a 1.5 volt altered OM 1

What would the battery number be for a 1.5 V battery to fit in an OM 1?  
Seems like someone had mentioned a spacer or washer that would allow you to 
use the same 1.5V battery used in the 2,3 or 4. What would that item be and 
where might one be found?  Bill Barber
