JOIN POPULAR PHOTOGRAPHY IN BOSTON FOR A CANDLELIGHT VIGIL IN MEMORY OF
THOSE LOST IN THE TRAGIC EVENTS OF SEPT 11.

In honor of the American heroes and citizens who lost their lives in the
tragic events of September 11th, Popular Photography and Fujifilm USA are
hosting a candle light vigil in remembrance of their lives and loved ones,
to be photographed and portrayed in an issue of Popular Photography. The
event will take place Saturday November 10th at 6:30 p.m. in front of
Trinity Church in Copley Square in Boston, Massachusetts.

The images taken from the vigil will be featured in the April issue of
Popular Photography in a special tribute section, along with images from
cities across America. "At least 120 readers will be joining us and we
expect to include hundreds more in the portrait of the candle light vigil,"
says VP/Group Publisher of Popular Photography, Richard Rabinowitz. Along
with Popular Photography the local Red Cross representatives and Boston Fire
Fighters have also been invited to appear in this portrait.

The group portrait is only one activity of a full array of shoots that
Popular Photography has organized for the weekend of November 9th-11th. "We
are organizing permits to special vantage points to achieve noteworthy
photography; led by world-renowned photographer Arthur Rainville," says
Project Producer Jamie Spritzer. Other events will include shooting
opportunities in Harvard Square, Quincy Market, a sunrise shot of the Boston
skyline, and a special Saturday afternoon portraiture session at Ladder 15
Firehouse on Bolyston Street. Additionally, workshop participants can bring
photos for a critique session with the instructors and the Popular
Photography staff members.

In past years, readers have turned out in great numbers for Popular
Photography's Boston Photo Trek. The program is one of many destination
workshops across the country and around the world that the magazine team has
organized over the last three years, tallying thousands of participants.

We are inviting the entire city of Boston and cities across the country to
come together with Popular Photography magazine and Fujifilm USA in this
momentous display of gratitude and admiration. Candles will be supplied, but
as a result of enormous response we encourage you to bring your own candles
to take part in this event. Please come and join us to create a memorable
image in tribute to these American men and women.
If you are interested in joining Popular Photography is this weekend of
tribute and photographic experience, in addition to being a part of the
vigil, please go to www.mentorseries.com or phone/email Michelle M. Cast at
212 767 6086 or mcast@xxxxxxxxxx.
