I purchased the regular leatherette covers for my E#ay deal OM-2. Its easy
to peel the old covers off and wipe the bare metal down with denatured
alcohol or rubbing alcohol to get ALL residual stikyness off. Just don't
slop too much liquid onto the camera body. I was able to reposition one of
the pieces after applying it with no problem. I can't speak for the real
leather, but the leatherette was a breeze to work with.
