Unfortunately there's only one place on earth to go for us iS lovers, and
that's Hans van
Veluwen's iS/L page at

This is part of the world's largest Olympus site, The Unofficial OM Sales
information File
or e-Sif as it's usually called. The iS/L page gives you a thorough
description of the
whole iS series (as well as the Centurion APS ZLR), and there are links to
user reviews at
PhotographyReview. There are no manuals for the iS series online [yet] I'm
afraid, but if
we join forces and regularly bring up this issue at least once a month here
I'm sure we
eventually will manage to persuade Hans to include them as well... Hmm...
;-)
Seriously, I'm afraid I cannot help you with the manual. Have you tried with
Olympus
Japan? Maybe they at least can get you a photocopy. Otherwise I can only
advice you to
keep an eye at KEH's site at http://www.keh.com/ . They usually have a lot
of manuals for
older models (but unfortunately no iS-1000 manual for the moment it seems).
