If the glass is toally clear with and the lens is
perfectly functional I would definitely go for it. I
personally have never used a 180/2.8 but it was
Olympus's fastest premier telephoto before the 180/2,
250/2, and 350/2.8 came out. If the Heliopan filter is
in good condition it alone is worth 15-30 dollars by
itself. A well brassed lens/body has a charm all its
own as long as it doesn't interfere or indicate real
damage.
