Jim,
The easiest way to set up the older MD-1 for remote firing is to get one of the
Relay Cords 1.2m or 10m This gmoves the battey
pack off the MD1 and it can be fired remotely from those distances, but better
yet it has two little terminals that you put wires
into and run to a remote switch, pretty much any distance you choose!
That way there is no need for modification to the unit.
