I'm not sure I'd say the E-10 is "older technology"...it's about as
up-to-date as anything else out there, including the $3-5K digital SLR
bodies from Canon and Nikon. As for not having interchangeable lenses, so
far, I haven't noticed the lack (though I'll probably pop for the 200mm
converter soon). The E-10's lens appears to be a standout performer, and a
35-140 zoom covers most of what most folks use (though if your normal lens
is a 24, you're going to be disappointed; even with the wide converter, it's
only a 28mm equivalent).

I consider the E-10 to be a capable camera, and a good digital workhorse.
Given that the interchangeable-lens Olympus rumored for next year still
won't accept OM-mount lenses, I'm not at all sure it's an improvement. (I
believe that's a mistake, but I understand Olympus' rationale, even if I
don't completely buy it.)

I'm keeping my OMs and Zuikos, but unless it's a demanding situation that
needs 35mm resolution or lens/flash capabilities the E-10 doesn't have, the
E-10 gets the call.
