There is a bit of talk about the Voigtlander/Cosina lenses on the Leica
groups. Many people say that they are quite good. Even Erwin Puts, the
Leica lens tester and historian, says that they are optically often in the
same league as 10-year old (pre-aspheric) Leica lenses, and significantly
better than the old screw-mount lenses some budget Leicaphiles go for. For
example, he rates their 50/1.5 Nokton as slightly better than the current
Leica Summilux! He doesn't care for their mechanics and
tolerances. However, one must keep in mind that when Erwin says something
is not as good, he is often talking on the level of comparing the violin
playing of Itzhak Perlman with Isaac Stern, and saying the latter is not as
good.
On the other hand, some Leica chauvanists remain unconvinced. And there
are issues besides sharpness. In the case of the 50/1.5 Nokton, the lens
is very sharp wide open, but has a much harsher bokeh than the Summilux and
older lenses.

As a matter of fact I wish almost ANYBODY would make an ultrawide asph.
lenses for the OM system.
I own a Samyang 18 to 28 f/4.0 to f/4.5 zoom.
It takes good pictures but is not asph..Below is a page that contains lense
