I think you're right in that one of the rear elements is a two-piece
cemented element, but the ones on my lens were definitely fungus damaged.
There were some kind of almost opaque coverage, and trying to clean that off
didn't work with progressively stronger 'home remedies'. Has anyone used an
ultrasonic cleaner machine for lens elements? I can always use a good excuse
to get a new tool.
