It is good trading etiquette that when you offer an
item it isn't on e-bay ie don't offer things you have
put up for bid. Offer fair value, don't try to stiff
people, but don't think you have to offer up megadeals
either, fair value is mainly determined by e-bay
prices and what you think is best. Be very clear and
accurate in your descriptions. If a lens is scratched
say it and describe. At least 7 days return for
functioning items is required if the item is returned
in the same condition, broken or iffy items of course
can be sold as is though. Basically common sense and
and openess in item descriptions is what really
matters here. If you are not sure on the pricing of an
item asking the list is the best course and people on
the list are usually very willing to pay for items
that are offered fairly since this list has a trust on
it that isn't present on ebay. If someone gets burned
on ebay they have little recourse, but on the list the
consequences can be grave if a seller turns out to be
a bad apple.
