Yeah, I know.  Although I'm quite happy with my Tamron, I think I did
pay a bit too much for it, but I hadn't seen one for ages so I thought
I'd better snap this one up - and I do have a need for such a thing
(honest).  Part of me still wishes I'd waited a bit, though.  And a
tri- er, monopod mount would have been nice (mine didn't have one).
