Hi Albert

I have taken lots of shots in museums; my usual set up is om 4 with 50/1.2 or 35/2 loaded with provia 400f rated at 3600 or superia 800 rated at 3200 for prints).

Lighting is often strange, and the object etc. is often not a mid-tone. I use the spot meter in the 4 on the object, with a little +/- if it is a very dark or light piece. I've been happy with the results...

If you don't have a 4 , sorry, but this could be your excuse to buy one.....

Pete
