Thanks Skip - but the real question was WHEN does it do the save? (I've learnt
WHERE it saves.)
There's no button called "SAVE" ! It seems to do it when I Scan (not when I
preview) - but maybe I want to do a low res preview, then a hi-res Scan, tweak
it a bit and then Save...
Thanks
jez

Use the "Files" tab to set the output directory, file name, and output file
types (tif, jpg, index).

The default is for the files to be named crop0001+.xxx and go into the
\Vuescan directory.
