Tom: instant 110-degree-plus panorama: shift full left, take picture, shift
full right, take picture. When you knit the pictures together in Photoshop
Elements they combine almost instantly (because the negatives are in
practically perfect registration) and you have an equivalent to about a
110-degree panorama image, about what a 14mm super-wide lens would give you.
Turn the camera 90 degrees and do it again and I think you can cover a clean
180 degrees with nearly perfect registration... and that's not even
considering the architecture and interior pictures you can get... this lens
can do some crazy-cool stuff!
