I might be mistaken, but "full-range" compatibility is not an option for
the low end Nikons. In fact, I believe it is the case that even some AF
bodies are not compatible with Nikons newest "innovations." On the other
hand, I believe all K-mount lenses will work with K-mount bodies -
excluding the AF body/lens to MF/AF lens pairings.
