This sounds exactly the same as my 18mm that I sent to John H for repair.
Maybe when John gets to my repair he could post a note to the group about
what adjustments were required.

Thanks

I had the chance to get a 18/3.5 at a very very low price.
It arrived yesterday. It is in nice condition - usual paint wear on the
diaphragm, the back looks "used", but the glass is without sign.
But... when focusing, the lens does not change its size (all other lenses
do). Visually, mounted on a camera, I am able to focus, but the infinity is
at about the 3m mark on the lens.
I suspect some problem whith the focusing mechanism, but it is simple to
correct or not?
