Mickey,
I am using NiMH exclusively in my E-10 and FL-40. I carry 6 sets and 3
chargers. I have had GREAT life out of the 1800MaH cells from GP. I also
have some 1650MaH cells from Panasonic (Costco w/5hr charger $23) and MAHA.

The MAHA chargers are very fast, about 3 hours to a full charge. I really
like these, they come with both a 110V adapter and a cigarette lighter cord.

I just finished doing 2200 digitals over a 2 1/2 day shoot last weekend.

As a rule, I do not use the LCD for preview or postview. I consistently get
over 200 images before changing batteries in the E-10. The record was 325
shots on an outdoor shoot a few months back.

As to life in the FL-40, that is really dependant on the scene. I would say
they break 100 shots without a problem. I seldom use my T-32s or T-20s so I
can not attest to their life. I can tell you I am going to rebuild my T-45
packs with the GP cells.

I always recharge before the next days shoot and I always carry one more
change of batteries than I expect to use.

Mark
