Has anyone made a snoot for a Vivitar 285 flash gun and care to share
their secret with the list? The best thing I have found is a light
weight black plastic 4" diameter "Big O" pipe connector from Home Depot
measuring 6 1/2" long and costing only a couple of dollars. One end can
be gently squashed and pushed over the 285's flash head and the diameter
at the other end can be closed down with a cardboard cut out. What this
set up does not have is a modeling light so it's a bit hit and miss but
better than nothing.
