They drop due to both, and both are happening.

That's just it. It's just the body part that has the quick evolution & 
rapid change. The lenses have a longer life. Expect there to be $200 bodies 
as well as $2,000 bodies in another 3 years. 

For photojournalism, expect bluetooth to transmit to a stationary laptop 
which will transmit to the paper, seconds or minutes after each shot. 
Useful for other situations, too.
