I considered the D40, as it is cheaper then the 4040, but the lens is only
f/2.8 while the 4040 is f/2.
In fact, it is the slow lens that is keeping me away from the Nikon 5000.
Right now, I'm leaning towards the G2, but may hold off a month or so for
post Christmas pricing.
