Take the lens off, just under the mounting ring you'll see a little tab on
the left side.  It should be located just under the red dot.  If it isn't
(and it probably isn't in your case) it's probably stuck somewhere near
the top.  Gently push it back and see if it snaps back.  Don't push too
hard, it won't take a lot of force.  If it goes back, then your meter should
be ok for now, but it'll probably get stuck again.  It would probably be
wise to get it cleaned.  Don't try cleaning it yourself, on an OM-1n the
meter tension is released when the lens mount ring is removed.  Then you're
in trouble :-)
