True, and considering that, the guy should be cut some slack.
Sometimes, you can get a real deal from folks who aren't really
familiar with the value of what they're selling -- the Antiques
Roadshow is proof of that. But I'm usually leery, too, when it's
a long-distance, I-can't-kick-your-butt-if-you-screw-me deal like
evilBay. The reserve price indicates the seller has some clue,
but the buyer may open up the back of the camera and find two
cocoons and a dead mouse. It may be a good deal, but I'm passing.
