I´ve never found technical information about the way Super-FP-TTL-is regulated.
Sure, it can be meassured like "normal"-light, and controled via shutter speed,
while the flash always fire full power.
But then Olympus specify for the FP-mode:
80-260 flasches per batterys
5-9 sec. recharge time.
So I conclude that the flash-output is electronically regulated like in the
TTL-mode.
This should the OM-3ti do as well. - Just my thoughts.
Hmm. I can`t prove it :-(. seems I need a 3ti ;-). Or is the FP-flash always
too weak, to
be regulated? - Ahm- does the 3Ti have a pattern on the first curtain?
