Yes, there was an off-line discussion last night and, we came up with some
of the newer LED technology as being about as close to perfect as is
available
for a reliable, portable source of light.
 Emphasis on reliable!  Even a metal flashlight can blow a bulb when you
have
 it in your hand and, have your hand out to break a fall.

Hmm.  Mine is just a two-piece pull apart keychain that they gave out to
dealers.
