[OM] 3rd party lens info

Subject: [OM] 3rd party lens info

Hi OMers,
Are there sites where one can find information on discontinued
Vivitar, Tamron, and Tokina lenses? Some time spent going through these
manufacturer's sites showed that they don't give any information on
older lenses. Even the Zuiko "purists", I'm sure, use Tamron or other
3rd party lenses on their OM's. But where do you go to find data on,
say, a 400mm Vivitar or Tokina, or a 300mm f2.8 Tamron, lens that's on
eBay? Things like how many elements in how many groups, minimum
focusing distance, etc.
Does anyone have a site, like Skip Williams has for Olympus, on
prices that these three manufacturers' lenses have brought on eBay? I
saw a 400mm Vivitar in OM mount go on eBay on Monday for $125; another
example on Tuesday went for $285. Anyone know what the one year average
is?
Many thanks,
Dean
