You might try extending your fixing time on the Tmax. A friend of mine
(he is also a OM shooter) says that sometimes if you don't get the film
fully fixed it seems to leave a slight magenta/violet cast and that
creates the need for higher contrast paper/grade. Kodak does reccomend a
longer fix cycle for Tmax than, say Tri-X.
