I buy all my film in the UK from 2 internet sites based offshore in Guernsey
(The Channel Islands) - either from 7dayshop.com or dlab7.com. They are 2
brothers running similar, but separate businesses, and only the latter
offers on-site 3rd party film processing. However both their mail order
prices are heavily discounted compared to our UK High Street prices.

Having just got back into using slide film (Sensia) I posted off 3 films ( 2
in 1 packet, 1 in another) in mid-December to dlab7.com, as the film was
priced at $3.86 US all inclusive of their own processing. You guessed it -
they never rec'd the first 2 films (which contained some vital work for my
College Photography evening course) but they rec'd the 3rd - but 14 days to
turn it around! In hindsight I should have sent them recorded delivery...

A fellow mature student on my photography course suggested using Fuji's own
labs in the UK. So I bought some Fuji own prepaid films from the same
internet site for $3.97 US - only a pittance more. The one I posted off
last Sunday arrived back 1st post this Tuesday this week and the other,
posted Monday morning this week , arrived back Wednesday morning - and their
labs are 200 miles away but it was an amazing 48 hour (or even less)
turnaround.

What excellent service - even their slide mounts are better quality and have
frame numbers etched on them - brilliant.

I'd certainly recommend Fuiji's own processing in the UK and the Guernsey
sites for mail order film purchase - but then UK listeees probably use them
already?

P.S. Apologies - this IS SENT AS PLAIN TEXT format from Microsoft Outlook -
