I need a tripod. I looked at the Sliks and the Bogens. Bogens were vastly
superior, but the Sliks were superior in price.. I'm a poor poor student..
Any recommendations besides these two I should look at?

Thanks.
Albert

Tiltall: about a $100 including the head. Used to be sold with the Leica(actually E. Leitz) nameplate on it. About 6 pounds and very solid and the center column is reversible for macro.

The Leitz Tiltall was my first tripod. Bought it back in 1977. Black as night and fairly sturdy. Good equipment, mainly. But I'd look for one used instead of new. I saw a couple of these on eBay not so long ago.
