I think Albert was asking.
I notice that in a later book by John Shaw, he recommends the Slik M322
tripod as well as the Gitzo 320.
The reason he likes these two so much, is that they are easy to use for
positioning the camera close to the ground for subjects located there. Of
course they are stable and strong as well.
