in this case last wkend, there was no bounce, just straight diffuser. last time 
i did bounce, i determined light 
loss from the beamed ceiling to be 3 stops, so had to use 400 speed film, and 
shoot 5.6 (not much DOF 
needed) with large flash dumps.
