there we go! zipped (or compressed in whatever format)! or what about 
converting the text in the pdf to text 
(html) as a preview or quick reference, and then users can get the zipped pdf 
if they still want. i'm sure you 
chaps can write up some script to take text from pdf and make it html <g>
