Although I have not been following this thread closely, I always thought the
following made the OM-2(n) unique:
Automatic exposure control:
Aperture- preferred automatic exposure control electronic shutter type. TTL
Direct (OTF) light measuring method, measuring range:
OM-2: ASA 100, from F1.2, about 60 seconds, to F16, 1/1000 second
(EV -5.5~EV18)
OM-2n: ASA 100, from F1.2, about 120 seconds, to F16, 1/1000 second
(EV -6.5~EV18)
