Definitely no argument there. I was only comparing the spot meter
feature.
There's been some high praise here lately for the 2s, but I somehow
think if it weren't for the spot meter feature, which I really wanted, I
would have gone with a 2n with match needle. (No, I don't have/need a
2n, and ain't gittin' one neither!) Also, I think I may look for some
better flash stuff (BG2, cords, t32) to go with the 2s, so I see it a
real plus there.
I bought the 2000 basically for 2 features, 1/125 sync for outdoor
backlighting, and to play with double exposure. But I do find myself
using it in spot meter most of the time. Maybe it is because of the "new
toy" or "novelty" aspect of it. Might wear off.
Question: Are pictures from the OM2000 with Tokina ATX lens allowed in
the TOPE? Does either or both disqualify? I got back a winter landscape
on Portra 160NC I might try to get someone to scan for the February
theme if they are.
