Hi Fabien,

Sounds like a good price to me. Especially with the Cross-polarized filter
included, and assuming all are in good shape. I've used mine a fair amount,
although I still haven't managed to come up with a cross-polarizing filter
for it. One big advantage to it, I think, is that it puts very even light
right where you need it most.

Regarding Photoshop: Start with Photoshop's own calibration routines for
your monitor. They're not perfect, but they're not bad. Once the monitor is
calibrated, run your scanner's calibration routine. Most have some sort of
calibration, either automatic or manual. Then scan your photo at the highest
resolution and color-depth you can handle, as a starting point. You may find
through experimentation that your intended use doesn't require the maximum
settings, but you can always down-sample from the maximums.

Once you've got the image in Photoshop, save it as a Photoshop native-format
file (PSD). At this point, you can experiment with settings. I usually find
I need to adjust level settings and often color settings as well. When
things look as you want, save a copy, still in Photoshop native mode. Apply
unsharp masking if required (some usually is) then save in the format you
require (.JPG for the web, or .TIF for lots of other programs, or whatever
is required).

Personally, I've had better results printing photographs directly from
Photoshop than I have in transferring them to other applications for
printing. YMMV, depending on your printer and a host of other variables.

There's lots of info on the web regarding Photoshop and the use of various
settings. More than you'll probably have time to wade through.

About the T10 :

<snip>

Is that price a good price? It seems to be in very good conditions.
Is it preferable to use severall T20/T32 than the T10 for the type of
macro work I do? (flowers, insects, mush rooms, small mechanics etc...)
Is the T10 a must have for macro stuff?
How much people who have one do use it?

About photoshop :

<snip>

Does anybody could give me
the most frequent actions to use with photoshop or some url where it is
explained?

Regards
