I'm not sure that we should be comparing Oly to Nikon or Canon - I liken
them more to Contax or Leica.  I have said before that it is the
"thinking man's camera" and thus might not appeal to a great many of
users.  If I ever had to re-invest in 35mm (which I won't because it's
4x5 or bust for me!) it would probably be Contax as they are capable of
producing a quality body, and comparable glass to Zuiko (Zeiss, of
course).

Oly never lost face w/ anything.  They have great products on the
digital market, solid P&S cameras, and hopefully a competent digital
SLR.  OM may fade, but Oly won't...
