With all the debate about the death of OM, I wandered into a photo
shop in Stratford at the weekend (before seeing RSC do midsummer
night's dream .. v v good) to have a look at the contax aria - it has
been touted here and in other places as an OM like manual focus
set-up.
I quite liked the camera, but nowhere near enough to consider buying
one, now or later. The price of the lenses even outdid olympus at
their most mark-up dolally.
The brochure for the camera and system also reads like a 4Ti brochure
... though not quite as gushing....
It really saddened me that contax see a market for this camera, but
olympus don't for the 4Ti.....
